Sometimes “love your neighbor as yourself” is what you need to hear.

And sometimes, for some people, what you need to hear is “love yourself as your neighbor.”

    It is so hard. It is so hard, and it is so hard, when this is emphasized, to take it as permission and encouragement to love yourself, rather than one more thing to hate yourself for being bad at.

    I don't know. I have a lot of feelings, but not a whole lot of words, so. Thank you.
